There was some heated debate over on a social network website regarding dating, personal ads, and how men and women want different things.  Being female, the odds are in my favour (whether I’m married or not it seems!) and… to be honest I have no problem with that.

What makes it funny though is when the men get all butthurt because they don’t have hundreds of beautiful women falling all over themselves the way us girls will have hundreds of men messaging us the second we submit our ad.

Case in point, I took the singles group for Toronto and counted up a month’s worth of personal ad posts, and categorized them.  This is what I found:

It’s such a buyer’s market.  The buyer being the female.  And the guys… just don’t get it.  Makes it funny though when they post about their butthurt-ness because… well you know, all we do is laugh at them from behind our monitors and keyboards anyways.
