STRANGEST dream I’ve had in a while.

I was at school, felt like a college or university but I didn’t immediately recognize it as Ryerson.  Anyways, I was at school, in a class room but we weren’t being lectured.  We were all just sort of hanging out.  I had a few books (both text books and work-books) in my backpack (that I’m now using exclusively for the gym IRL) as well as some clothes.

Had to hit the bathroom.  Went, someone snaked past me into the handicapped stall, but was obviously able to walk.  I was confused, but fine, moved into the regular stall which was quite small when myself and my bag were thrust inside.  Did my business, went to wash my hands.

Outside by the sinks that were suddenly very luxurious, washing my hands, someone’s talking behind me.  This girl’s introducing herself, saying her name (that I can’t remember) and how she ran some event at the residence.  (I don’t remember the event, or her, but she was talking about the residences that I lived at while at Ryerson for two years IRL.)

By the sinks there were these baskets of free samples.  So we’re looking through them, and they happen to be those liquid water mixes to make flavoured water.  Me, this girl I’m supposed to know, and now her friend (who ran in at some point) are looking through them and picking out stuff we thought we’d like and each taking two or three.  All the time justifying it by saying “well no one else is in here!”

I just ended up going back to class.

Definitely fragmented dream.  I more passed out than fell asleep last night  with the TV still going and my lights probably still on.  Thankfully I remembered to shut down my laptop.

Anyways.  I sort of think Demolition Man was on the TV, but the parts I’m thinking about now weren’t in the movie, so either my memory of the movie is off, or I was already in dream-land and was making up the movie as I went along.

At some point I was at the top of a really high cliff overlooking a great looking body of water.  Went running off the cliff and diving in, along with some male companion I couldn’t recognize, and now can’t remember.

When we hit the water, all of a sudden we were not in some nautral water wonderland, but in someone’s pool.  I was swimming around, hit the shallow end, tried to swim underwater until I got to the deep end again, but someone had either held me back, or held me down, and told me if I wanted to swim I needed to stay in the deep end.

Then I woke up and realized I slept with the TV on (lights were off, thanks Mom!) and still fully clothed.  Didn’t bother undressing, just turned off the TV and rolled back over. Oops :)

This was an awkward dream. (Thanks for the spelling Doug! :P )

I now don’t even remember much of the circumstances surrounding it, but all I really remember is it involved me being at work.

My boss looked at my (clean) shirt and started getting mad because there’s a few brown spots on them. (They exist IRL as well) I start explaining that my shirt was washed over the weekend and is clean, but I can’t figure out how to get these spots out. (IRL I think they’re like spots from some kind of a juice drink I accidently dripped, then my mom ironed my shirt which caused the sugar to burn)

Anyways, I was getting taken away and was getting explained to me that there’s some sort of a “bursary” for employees who couldn’t afford clothing for work.  Somehow they take the last two pay cheques, and do some kind of a formula and figure out that the company should give you “X” amount of dollars to spend on clothing.

I woke up thinking that’d be awesome… but highly unlikely.

Although… I do need to replace these shirts that all have strange burnt-sugar brown spots on them!

Sleep is for the weak? No no no.. for me!

My sleeping has become all sorts of messed up and it’s somewhat driving me insane. I can’t figure out if it’s healthy or not, but I’m thinking if my body needs the rest, then sure why the hell not.

I’m now waking up before my 6:45am alarm, although I have zero desire to get out of bed until at least 7:30 so I sort of just keep dozing and turning off my alarm when it goes off.  Or if it’s weekend, I’ll turn off the alarm at the first ring, and can sleep until about 9am when I finally get out of bed.  The only cool part about this morning ritual is that I’m pretty in control of my dreams, more than once I’ve remembered where my dream left off, and went back to sleep to try & continue it or resolve the issue at hand.

I’ll also randomly fall asleep/pass out around 9 or 10pm while watching TV, and Sunday night this made me wake up around 1am not able to sleep, and awake until past 2am until I finally fell back asleep again. What makes Sunday even worse is the fact that I was having hour or two hour long naps in the middle of the day because… well I had nothing better to do.

I’m awake throughout the day which is pretty decent, but by around 8 or 9pm I really am getting quite tired.  Not exactly sure what it’s all about but I could totally be falling asleep at that hour, and I don’t want to.  I already have very little of a social life, and I feel like more of that is slipping away if I can’t even stay awake to read about my friends lives online.

Wow I’m boring.

Here mom… let me get that for you

One of the stranger fragmented dreams…

For some reason me & my mother are in the grocery store, because she wanted to buy some of those nose strips that remove blackheads from one’s nose.  We got to that asile but there was only one box, that was open, and only one strip inside.  She gets me to come over to figure out if we could just have the one strip since there was only one particular pore on her nose that was blocked.

When I found this out, I decided to try & manually pop it out using my fingernails for her.  In the store. I remember getting that bugger out, and thought it was really gross at the time because the blockage in the pore was a lot bigger than I expected.

And there was some general running around the grocery store as well.  And some bag of snacking material my mom had, but kept in one of the open freezers, and when she returned it had disapeared.
