SO SORE!!!
OMG. So sore.
I haven’t been to my gym, my proper gym, in months.
Situations here and there lead me to just stop going to my “usual” Tuesday and Friday classes, generally opting to try & get to the secondary gym (which got skipped over more often than not) or just to chill before hanging out. I was all about it January, and February, then some time in March it all went down hill.
After Monday night’s heart-break, I decided I had, HAD to go back the following day.
And I kept that promise.
Oh. Emm. Gee. Seriously, that was painful.
Uncoordinated, barely kept up, obviously the majority of my strength is GONE. Not to mention.. I need some sports tops, this bouncing is not only highly uncomfortable, it’s not pleasant to watch in the mirror either, and I have a habit of watching the mirrors to check on what I’m supposed to be doing.
At the same time, strangely familiar and comforting. Same instructor as always, got to celebrate her birthday as well. Loads of students I recognized even in the 3 months that I’d basically been away. A few familiar tunes. While still uncoordinated was able to at least pick up the routines quickly.
Tonight’s my massage and it’s definitely a requirement.
Then Friday I’ll try it all again!
Can’t decide if I want to still drive all the way down to Scarborough for Saturday/Sunday.
Thinking maybe will go the Saturdays… that class I always loved. Sunday… maybe maybe not?
