“Why was I cursed with this weakness for snack treats?”

I wanted to make a goal to be more physically active this year, it’s not a resolution since it’s something I already started, but I wanted to make sure it kept going this year.  I also had planned on starting the www.hundredpushups.com program again  but full body instead of modified… but I realize I keep getting stuck around the week 5/6 mark because… it just feels like a chore.

So more physically active means going to the gym more often (I will admit I tire of paying $60+ a month and only going twice a month!) and doing my own version of the 100 push-ups… which is basically me going and trying to do as many as I can all in one go, then calling it a day.  I like push-ups because it’s pretty much a full-body exercise.

Then, to keep track of everything I have a calendar at work, and a calendar at home that I fill in the details of what I did each day and every so often I’ll just update y’all on it… well more update myself but keep it out for the world to read.

I might miss days, and that’s okay.  As long as I don’t make a habit of it, I’m sure I’ll forgive myself.

01/01 – Nothing
01/02 – Nothing
01/03 – Nothing (granted, I only thought this up on the 4th!!)
01/04 – 33 modified push-ups
01/05 – Nothing
01/06 – 35 modified push-ups
01/07 – 35 modified push-ups
01/08 – Body Attack at the gym
01/09 – Yoga at the gym
01/10 – 30 modified push-ups
01/11 – 37 modified push-ups

And while I realize doing one set of push-ups really isn’t much of anything… something’s still better than nothing, right?

Oh, part two would be to lay off the snack treats :P
