First things first. Wednesday night? I didn’t get to sleep. I ended up going to Phil’s house (because we were being picked up early in the morning for the airport) but we needed to go back to Kinkos for another midnight running. Which turned into two different Kinkos for said midnight running. That lasted until it was time to go back and create some posters & stuff. Which we did while the sun was rising.
I didn’t sleep at all, didn’t sleep on the ride to the airport, or either flight. I was okay for the most part. Felt queezy after the landing in Chicago but was okay after some $5.00 smoothie. Felt queezier during/after the landing in Dallas, and finally forced myself to vomit to try & feel better. It worked until we were driven to the space… which also made me feel queezy.
Reduced the queezyness feeling by jumping into whatever work I could do, mostly lifting/moving boxes, holding ladders, fetching tools, laying down plastic tarps in rooms with support-poles.
Still haven’t slept really. Ended up at a tex-mex place with a burrito the size of my head (could only finish half) and it was off to Kinkos (in Dallas this time!) to print the posters designed the night before.
Still not sleepy, super energetic, finally fell asleep. Woke up way early this morning (damn internal clock) finally went downstairs for the hotel continental breakfast, and find that I will be eating a little bit of Texas:
