Yay!

Yesterday's shopping trip was successful. Went to only buy a pair of shoes (comfortable like runners but not look like it)

Well my pants I deemed fit to wear to work are static-city & I couldn't stand it anymore. So two pairs of pants (+ a rainbow belt!) out of Old Navy had me good. Payless was the only shoe store with acceptable pricing and shoes that actually fit. So a pair of solid black shoes from there.

Problem being, the price tag inside the shoes said $32.99. Checkout happens and I'm not really thinking when cashier dude tells me $48.99 (or something just under $50.00) But walking away I'm suddenly thinking that's really high. Check my receipt, $39.99 + tax. Check the inside of the shoe, $32.99. Go back to the store.

Dude who was all happy & friendly at me turned super cold. For some reason wouldn't even take out the shoes to look at the tag, rather try to look while still inside the box and bag. (?) Got my credit card refunded the difference, as he looked pissed off & wouldn't talk to me, I apologized for inconveniencing him of the 7 dollars he overcharged me.

Such a Canadian I am!
