spoiled chinese girl

Alright here’s what I remember.

I had been having problems with this ferret that would sleep in the same bed as me.  Problem being I had a tendancy to roll over on it and squish him.  Now he didn’t get hurt by this, but obviously would be angry, and once I rolled back off him, he’d start attacking and biting at me.

I finally decided he was a bother to have, and thought about how to remove him from the building I was living in.  A lot of people I knew objected to this because they all really liked him, but he only attacked me so no one really understood.  I tried capturing him and putting him into an upside down laundry basket but some kid cut the plastic side of the laundry basket to free the animal (rather than just opening the lid??)

Finally I got the animal into one of those plastic bins meant for spiders (with a plastic lid with holes) and was carrying it around in that.  At some point I noticed that it had five babies and suddenly instead of the tan/brown colour, all of them (baby + newly found mother) were white, but still ferret looking.

Some little girl asked me to adopt the ferret but I told her (and her parents) she’d have to take all six of them and they disapeared.

Finally I left the entire box of ferrets in a large oil-drum like garbage can.

Someone call me in a few hours to make sure I didn't blow up the house, okay?

What are you doing?

Just got home from first week of work.   Getting ready to meet up with the girls from the evil tile company for dinner!

What do you feel?

I feel excited.  Work is going well and I’m picking things up quickly.  Tonight should be fun, lots of self-cooked food with people I haven’t seen in… probably about a year!

What do you want?

I want to be happy.  I think I’m truly getting there

What do you avoid?

My goal is to avoid stupidity.  I’ve worked at so many stupid companies I’m sick of it.

What do you expect?

I’m expecting that everything will work out in the end!  Here’s hoping!

Minus:
– Zellers only seems to carry womens shoes up to size 9. I haven't been a size 9 in probably over 10 years.
– The two computer companies I e-mailed regarding a special order of what will be my first laptop have not replied. I will likely call them when I get home, or drop by a location this weekend.

Plus:
– I was able to make it downtown just in time to buy two 6-session RMT cards from the school. $23.35/session vs. $35.00/session
– Girlie date tonight with many of my former coworkers from the evil tile company. I think out of the 5 of us, only 2 still work there. Has been in the works for over 3 months now.
– My current co-worker came in this morning bearing chocolate (and cashew) covered bacon. Num-num! I shall find recipe/method & make at next pot-luck type of event.
– My schedule has been bumped up, and instead of starting real quotes on Monday, I started working on some today. (Actually, a few yesterday as well)
