The interview from Friday
So one of the funniest things is I had a job interview on Friday. Got the call Monday regarding an ad I replied to that was anonymous from Craigslist. For a division of a printing company in Markham. One of the biggest printing companies in Canada, and possibly the world.
I find it funny because I’d been sending these people my resume (to whatever e-mail address I could find) for years now and never received a response, but they’ll call me when it’s anonymous through a Craigslist ad. I guess that shows where the employers are looking these days. It’s what I’m finding anyways. All new “young” people know to use Craigslist as the new classifieds.
Anyways, it’s to be the CSR for one major client, who produces product catelogues twice a year. Not knowing what the job entailed beforehand (forgetting which advertisement it was I was replying to) probably made me look just a little bit dumb. Then again, job titles and job descriptions get mixed and matched so much it’s hard to tell what from what anymore.
It was interesting one of the two people interviewing me sort of recognized me. He also seemed sort of familiar. Ah well.
