What have I done with my life?
I’m just thinking, this may be a short post. I’ve been a pretty privileged girl growing up (And continuing to grow up… and be privileged) and just thinking of all the jobs I’ve ever had. Granted, I didn’t really have my first job until I hit 17 because my parents didn’t want me working, I was supposed to do the normal chinese thing, study hard and be 110% on everything in school.
So here’s the list of jobs I’ve held ever since I was able to hold a job:
- internet subscription customer service & sales person
- book/magazine customer service & sales person
- adult toys & adult movies customer service & sales person
- drug store customer service & cashier
- body jewelry & bath products customer service & sales person
- website designer
- promotions/flyer girl
- printing company customer service & production management
- residence adviser
- newsletter editor
- housewares customer service & sales person
- envelope company customer service & production management
- tile company customer service & order entry
- yoga studio weekly night-cleaner (on trade)
- (soon to be) envelope company customer service & estimator
Considering I’ve only been working for about the past 8 or so years… that seems like a pretty hefty list! I feel bad sometimes that I could probably write a resume to impress almost anyone no matter what the job is. I even wrote up a resume to get myself a bottom of the barrel retail job, complete with little hearts for bullets… that I didn’t end up using because I was afraid I would get a job before my partner, who was pretty desperate to look for work while I really had no intentions of finding a real job
Just got me thinking…
