Drunken guitar hero

Thursday, March 15th, 2007

Is surprisingly fun.

Songs that I could get at least four stars if not all five stars in Medium or Hard whilst sober, I could not for the life of me end up with more than three stars on easy.  Easy being only requiring the use of 3 buttons where Medium is four and Hard is all 5.

It was some of the funniest.

I wasn’t too drunk but my friend was super drunk and the only annoying thing was he kept playing the same one song for I swear, an hour straight, convinced he could get five stars on easy because it was on easy.  Not realizing just how much he’d been drinking.

It was a Friday night.  Rum and Cherry Coke purchased south of the border is quite interesting.

Daylight Savings Time. Saves who?

I still don’t understand the reasoning for Daylight Savings Time.

I also don’t get why it had to happen so early this year.  Although it sort of makes sense, but being as I work at 7am and need to leave my house before 6:30am it sucks that I am once again driving in the dark to get to work.  It was so nice to have the sun up before I left the house.  Also the non-necessity of using my headlights was nice as well.

My schedule didn’t get too messed up though thankfully.  I’m just messing myself up I think.

Too much work is throwing me to pass out pretty immediately after dinner, and the waking up when I should be going to bed, then not going to bed…. shift-sleeping. Ughs.

Here’s hoping this week will be better!

Ughs. Job hunting. Even casual job hunting.

So there's rumours floating around that one of the CSR's in my company is going to get axed when the new software gets installed sometime in the near future. Of course, I was told about this new software when I went in for my interview. And my immediate question was “How secure is the job position if you have software to take away the main duties of the CSR's?” And was assured that the positions are very safe and they will siphon people into other departments. I don't know what to think about that anymore.

But that very same day I heard about the potential axe-ing, I got a phone call regarding my one-year-old online resume. And I called them back just now, and I have an interview Monday afternoon after work. Here goes nothing.

Just not enough.

One of the problems I’m finding now with my yoga is there’s not enough days.  My goals and intentions were always to go twice a week and push for three if not four days a week.  There’s been a few weeks where I know I’ve only gone once.  During the week.  Because both weekend-days I’ve been sleeping in so much from whatever activities the night before.

It’s driving me crazy because I love yoga and I want to keep going!

This Friday though, I took an hour off so I could go to the 4pm class because the 6 and 8pm classes are usually booked solid since they’re the cheap drop-in classes and since I have a year -membership I don’t actually need to take part in it to get into a class.

I’m actually off in a little bit to go to class again!

Wish me luck!

I should have gone biking in this weather…
