Lunar new year that is.  I haven’t gone off my rocker, don’t you fret none.  But Rogers Home Phone was giving away a pretty cool thing which was since they knew a lot of people make phone calls to Hong Kong and China, they said that for 24 hours, I believe 8pm Saturday to 8am Sunday, long distance calls to HK and China would be free.  I mean, I called around 11pm last night, and had to ring twice to get a clear enough reception, and it still sounded pretty crappy, but considering the number of people that were likely calling?  That wasn’t too bad.  And I heard that a lot of the time people don’t get through on Chinese New Year even without a long-distance giveaway.

Anyways, my mom’s in Hong Kong, my dad said he’s going to the casino in Niagara Falls, NY and me?  I’m heading to Niagara Falls, ON to hang out with my buddies and figure out some internet stuff.  Should be fun times.

I forgot to clean yesterday and now I can’t do it otherwise I’ll sweep all my luck away.  I have new underwear I’ll be wearing though, since I can’t afford all new clothes for one day.

That’s my life. Figures.

The first three Alex took the day I got my lens. The rest of them I took. It's not that I have an obsession with food, I think I just like taking pictures of things close up, and food is a great subject to take close-up photos of. Then again in the past three months of working where I do I've pretty well ruined most of the hard work over the past year of diligent, turned not-so-diligent gyme going, what with the constant snaking we do.

Two weeks ago I bought a Nikon D70s body. Went online to buy a charger (with extra battery) and memory cards. This past weekend I bought my lens, and a filter, and a nifty carrying bag, and a beanbag. Yesterday my memory cards came in. Today my charger & battery came in. I'm all set up to pretend I'm a professional photographer! Who does nothing but shoot on Auto mode on a dSLR Nah, I just hand my camera to Phil so he can set it up for me before I go and take awesometastic photos. YAY!

A few people know this, most people don’t know about this.

But a new project of mine is a music review blog.

And it’s based in Toronto. And yes it’s going to showcase my friends and their bands/projects a lot, but there is still lots of room for all the other talent in Toronto, and Canada that I don’t already know about.

So check it out!!

I’m also still working on it. I just needed a release date and this was as good a time as any.

Because it’s Robbie Williams Birthday. hahaha.
