What should I do about my Moksha?
Well when I first came up with the idea for this post it was my urging need to figure out after my first week what I was supposed to do. Classes individually cost 17 bucks. No I was not going to do drop-in classes, especally since my introductory week was 20 dollars for an unlimited number of classes for the week.
Then a 5 class pass was $75. 10 classes was $140. 20 classes is $260 and 50 classes was $550.
I also had the option of 1 month unlimited for $150, 3 months for $380. 6 months for $700 and a year for $1200.
After talking to one of the owners of the moksha studio I’m going to, we talked about my goals and what I planned on accomplishing. My goals were to attend AT LEAST 2 classes per week, average 3 classes, occassionally attend 4 classes a week, and attempt a 30 day challenge at some point.
(A 30 day challenge is… basically that. 30 days straight of hot yoga. It’s more of a Bikrams yoga thing I think but I figured it would translate well.)
So this past Monday I signed up for the year. I pay on a monthly basis, and it’s making me excited.
As soon as I finished with my membership, and class, the next night I went out to get a new yoga top since I can’t keep wearing my swimsuit top. (There’s a decorative bow/knot that’s on the front that always digs into my sternum when I lay on my front, not to mention there’s no support, and all the weight hangs off my neck making it uncomfortable)
I wore it on Wednesday, and it’s a great difference. Next, to find yoga pants I can wear in a hot yoga studio. I may have to hit up Lulu Lemon, even though my non-yoga friends doth protest.
