Ex coworkers, button makers and town meetings.

This is likely a multi-part dream, I’ll post what I remember from it.

I’m at the office where I used to work, but the office is different.  My coworker (who still works there) was in on this, as well as some random large man I don’t know who reminded me of a bouncer or security guard.  The coworker Evelyn was wondering if anyone was using former coworker Valerie’s old office (who quit soon after I started, who didn’t have an actual office).  The office seemed to be an attachment sunroom type of office blocked off from the main office and was left untouched for the past year.  The bouncer type guy who’s name I don’t recall was like “Yes, and the button maker’s probably still in there too” (I’ve been on the market for a button maker” and got mad at everyone for not telling me there was one readily available.

I go into this office, and grab the button maker, which was an odd contraption, which included having the pieces seemingly preloaded into it for probably 10 or more buttons, which required a wheel to spin forwards (similar to a microsope) to make a button, which also if spun backwards seemed to unmake buttons.  The button designs that were already loaded into this button maker reminded me of the kids club logos from BMEzine.com.

I took this button maker to some sort of town meeting.  I was making some buttons and unmaking some others to save the parts while sitting on the floor of a giant school gym with loads of other people in kind of groups but in rows at the same time.  They were handing out something at first but I can’t remember what, then they were handing out small boxes of chocolate that seemed to have a christmas theme to it.  One lady who was offered a normal rectangular box shaped box, refused it at first saying she only wanted a flat box, when they told her it was flat, she amended it to say “anything but a flat box” but that was all that was left.

In the end I somehow ended up with two boxes of chocolate.  One was assorted chocolates, while the other was blueberries covered in chocolate.  And I remember lollipops being thrown into the crowds as well.

That’s about it!
