After careful consideration

I realized that taking the same amount of money for doing the work of one (me) and the work for two (me and the girl who just walked out today) is f***ing stupid.

Therefore I just sent an e-mail to my former (and soon to be again temporarly) co-worker, basically saying I want a 30% increase in salary. I also justified my points by saying “The last increase request was a cost of living increase, where I was expected to take 50% of the duties/responsibilites of the office. Now that I'm expecting to take 100% of the office duties, I think it's fair that I expect to be compensated.” I'm sure we'll negotiate. But maybe they won't :)

Hell if I get this increase in full I'll go e-mail that guy back and see if he's still got that fixie bike!
