My dreams get into a category of TMI now

Thursday, June 29th, 2006

The part of today’s dream that I can remember includes me trying to pop a zit on the bottom of my chin, over a bathroom sink.  The “plug” part of it came out with a loud popping noise, and was actually quite large, and squishy and very round, to the point where at the angle it hit the sink, it was rolling around for a while before it settled.

Then the reminants of the bacteria and other stopped up stuff was coming out,  very watery, in a spray almost that was going nearly immediately down the drain.  And it wouldn’t stop, the abscessy type that felt hard under my skin wouldn’t go away no matter how much I squished, and more of this puss-like liquid was continually coming out.

At first I was curious as to how much was coming out, which was why I wasn’t trying to rinse the sink at the same time, but when I woke up I was definately grossed out by what I was dreaming on.

I've missed going to the gyme. At miniOUI I ended up hurting various parts of myself through not warming up/stretching, falling, and landing. Then I basically ended up taking almost two weeks off from the gyme to try and recoupourate.

I think I can finally say that I'm back in the groove. I went to the gyme last Saturday, then Monday, and then today. I plan to go again tomorrow since I'm at the suscon Friday, BMEfest Saturday, and likely passed out Sunday.

Anyways. I scored myself another futon. Phil's giving me his futon, in trade for a painting I've got that I never put up, since his walls need art, and his floor doesn't need a futon. Only the futon's staying at his house until after the 'fest since the boy can't say no when people ask for a place to stay.

To which I say NO SEX ON MY FUTON!

Me at some sort of school type event.  I recognized people from university so that’s where I must have been going.  We were sitting at computer stations trying to figure out a new program, although I’m not really sure what that was anymore.  All I remember now is that someone I was working with had version 1.23 while I only had version 1.22 on my system so I couldn’t help them with their problem.

Then we got back some report, where my friend (and her group) got a 45 out of 50 and were extremely happy about it.  While I looked for my mark I saw many marks down different pages, some one said 30% and one said 33% and I finally got to the end of this report where it stated I got a 47 out of 50 possible marks but I wasn’t happy for some reason.

And then me and this friend, and thils little girl we were babysitting(?) were going to my car to go to unicycle club, but I needed to find out where it was being held, so we piled into my car with the little girl riding shotgun, me driving and my friend from school in the back, and I was going to call them and it started raining.

That’s all I remember.

Two weeks late, but I'm alright.

So I was shifting through my pictures from the unicycle competition two weeks ago and actually found a picture of me on a unicycle, on a trials line. Instead of me falling off the unicycle, onto a trials line. Therefore I'm posting it because I have less than 5 seperate pieces of photographic evidence that I can ride this one-wheeled monster. I think this was the successful attempt at getting onto the pallet, gapping between the two then getting off, which I was going at for at least 30 minutes. It hurt. A lot.

One Ring to Rule them All

So I just got back from seeing Lord of the Rings, the Musical.  It was a gift from Brandon, well moreso from his Grandma, who decided to not go to the show even though the ticket was already purchased, as it was too long.  After all, it’s retelling 3 books, and I really didn’t blame her.

While I’d never read the books nor watched the movies, I really enjoyed it.  It was always my goal to read the books first, then watch all the movies.  Of course I end up going to see the play first which really probably should have been last.

Rumour has it, that the play is true to the books but not the movies.  But either way I was extremely confused.  I’m happy that I even bothered to read The Hobit, which gave me enough background knowledge to know there was a ring, and that it would turn people invisible.

Still though, I very much enjoyed it even if I didn’t already know the ending, and that I think made it better.  The costumes, and stage props and everything were amazing.  The stage itself was freaking fantastic.  Just very subtle movements of different levels caused the same area to look and feel completely different.

Seeing as I didn’t know any of the characters nor any of the storyline, I must say I wish there were large bubbles above everyone’s head to say who they were, and what their purpose was.  I’ll freely admit it took me a good long while before I realized the guys in brown hooded robes and giant sticks were actually playing trees.

Anyways, yes.  Good play to go see.  Although, read the books first if you have the time!
