Today's ride.

Monday, February 20th, 2006

Was freezing. I got to our meeting place at exactly 12 noon. And found no one. I found one of the members cars but not them. So I waited by the icecream stand where I thought we'd meet at. And lay down on a picnic table, watching the clouds pass over me and thinking up random lines of words strung together, that might possibly be the best poem in the world that's never written down. Til about 12:30 when I went back to the car and found everyone gearing up.

Today was called a big-wheel ride. 29″ and up. And I had the smallest 29″ out there. Coupled with the fact that I ain't that strong of a rider, I was always last person to arrive at any meeting points. And it was *super* windy, and we were heading straight into it. And me being one of the wider type people I was having a difficult time riding into the wind. And when it turned into more of a cross-wind I was getting blown straight off the bike path onto the grass where I'd bail. But after half the group turned back I continued with Phil and Jeff, even though it was more of me playing catch-up the whole time. The funniest was when they went straight at this fork in the road, and I turned right since it looked like the nicer ride they would go for, and totally lost them, and was looked at like CRAZY when I was asking people “Hey, did you see two other unicyclists pass this way?”

In the end, I kept all my fingers (everyone was making jokes of me losing them because I was refusing to wear gloves) and my right shin was rudely introduced to my pedal as my face met the floor. But hot chocolate was awsome. Unicycle mom's are the best.

Oh the gag reflex

I had to force myself to throw up this morning. After not being able to for like 10 minutes I realized it was because there was nothing in my stomach to actually throw up. But all that was available was water so I drank that, then threw it back up along with other such goodness that was down there, mostly an overdose of gravol because I didn't read the instructions properly on the bottle. Thrilling. I also threw up like 3 times throughout the night, and was apparntly having like weird night-terrors and talking and crying in my sleep. And I've totally wasted the entire day because I've felt like crap said whole day.

So… again with the whole “I'm never drinking again” bidness.

Squee to the muthafukkin' max. (Thanks Badur!)

First things first.
Mr. Filipe, this one's for you.
Scorpio (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):
When you set your mind to something there is nothing that can stop you. Through sheer strength of will you always find a way to get what you desire.

Anyways, I get really bored very easily while at the gyme. I want to do more situps with the situp machine dealie, but I can't keep my mind counting properly past 10. (You know, because I have my shoes on and all) So I came up with the most brilliant idea of an hour ago, and that's counting to 10 in every language I can think of, which was a lot, because while I'm barely bilingual in English and Cantonese, somehow I know how to count from 1 to 10 in many languages. Mostly… English, French, Cantonese, Manderin, Spanish… I can count to 3 in Japanese (Grade 5 we did a project on Japan), and 8 in Korean (4 years of Tae KwonDo) So if you can teach me how to count to 10 in any other languages not listed here, please feel free to do so!

The gyme rocked today. Half an hour on the elliptical, then chest, biceps, triceps, back, shoulders, abs. repeat. repeat again. Was in and out in just about two hours. I upped the weights on some, and I upped the reps on some others to mix it up a bit. Thankfully my arms are getting slightly more defination but me being the impatient bastard that I am, it's not going nearly fast enough. Oh well. I have a website to design.

Weekends.

So unfortunately Tovie cancelled on me because I took too long to leave for Oshawa, then found out she was nowhere near the venue. But she offered me a raincheck :) . The show was fantastic so all y'all missed out, except I forgot to hit record so I missed that. Going home I got to fall asleep in bed with a boy and play big-spoon most of the night (we somehow coregraphed it that we switched at some point during the night, then again. heh.) That was Friday.

Saturday I left said boy's house, and went to the gyme, did my workout, then BACK to the boy's house. Me and his roommate went hunting for electronic bits but instead I left the store with seasons 2, 3 and 4 of the simpsons, season 2 of OZ that was unopened, and the debut albums for both mark owen (yea I know, “who?”) and backstreet boys. Then I went home for dinner.

Sunday I worked on a website, went to the gyme, finally saw some decently hot blokes in yoga class, who unfortunately were both totally hovering around the instructor in a “hubba-hubba” kind of way, and did some general working out, back to the boy's house, went out for lunch, fell asleep watching OZ and listening to band-recording new stuffs, and gave the boy I fell asleep with 2 nights before a backrub.

I was also told I'm a very difficult person.
