First day of a new year. No yoga though.

So I signed up for a gym membership with Premier Fitness on December 30th, it being my day off for New Years (I have to work January 2nd) And the schedule dictated that Wednesdays and Sundays were yoga classes. So I got up “early” on New Years Day to go to yoga, to realize that, right, it being a holiday, there was likely no class.

The plan is to definately go Wednesday and Sunday for Yoga, Saturday for self-defense, (working out either before or after these classes as well) then also going 1 or 2 more nights just to work out. My personal thing is usually cardio, but I want more weight-training too. The Yoga is to help with my balance, flexability and core strength. The self-defense is just for the sheer hell of it.

Elliptical Trainer for 30 minutes, 5 minute cool down, on like preset program 8 which was a really low valley type deal, on resistance level 3, and burning somewhere around 400 calories in total. It felt good.

And I need to quickly buy a small mp3 player to bring with me!
